SangioVese Wine Information

We pour this wine for tasters right after the SangioVese 2008 so you can see how the oak the wine was aged in affects the flavor and balance of the wine. This wine was aged in French Oak for 18 months and has a more intensity in depth, flavor and color. With this wine you taste the fruit first, then a hint of spicyness on the finish. SangioVese Wine Information

This is the lightest of our red wines. This wine has a beautiful oak bouquet that comes from the American Oak it was aged in. On the pallet you will enjoy a wonderful oak fruit flavor, hints of cola on the tongue and a slight acidic finish. Once opened up the acidity mellows and the flavors abound! Grapes from Calaveras County.
